AEEG uses Process Simulation for the design, development, analysis and optimization of many technical processes. Some of these are for chemical plants, chemical processes, environmental systems, power stations, complex manufacturing operations, biological processes and similar technical functions.


AEEG offers support to its clients for acquiring necessary permits required by local and/or federal statutory agencies. Construction permits and building permits typically are required for new construction, including adding onto any pre-existing structures as well as major renovations. Often it is also necessary to acquire air quality and water quality permits, depending upon the nature of the project.

AEEG is equipped to offer thermal designs for various types of heat exchangers. The flow rates of both hot and cold streams, their terminal temperatures and fluid properties are the primary inputs of thermal design of heat exchangers. Thermal design of a shell and tube heat exchanger typically includes the determination of heat transfer area, number of tubes, tube length and diameter, tube layout, number of shell and tube passes, type of heat exchanger (fixed tube sheet, removable tube bundle etc), tube pitch, number of baffles, its type and size, shell and tube side pressure drop etc.

AEEG has the ability to deliver Pressure Drop Calculations that supports its clients to determine Pressure Drop or Head Loss in piping systems because of elevation changes, turbulence caused by abrupt changes in direction and friction within the pipe fittings.

AEEG undertakes assignments of Pipeline Network Analysis for Cooling Water Network, Fire Water Network, Low & High Pressure Steam Network and Natural Gas / Propane Network. This network analysis is developed around two basic principles, the continuity principle (conservation of mass) and the work-energy principle. The work-energy principle is used to develop “energy loop equations” around independent loops. The continuity principle is used to develop “conservation of mass equations” at a junction.

AEEG’s HAZOP (Hazard And Operability) Study is a structured and systematic examination of a planned or existing process or operation in order to identify and evaluate problems that may represent risks to personnel, equipment, or prevent efficient operation. It is carried out with the help of a HAZOP Team consisting of suitable experienced multi-disciplinary personnel from the plant during a set of meetings.
